The Campus is the center of operations oversaw Quiksilver rapid Europe in France at St Jean de Luz, the halfway between the mountains and the sea, the company becomes an example of organic architecture, blending with nature that surrounds it.

Located on a hill overgrown with trees, the structure includes 5 satellites buildings interconnected by passageways and corridors, the space arranged around the central building, (agora) to create a harmonious architectural achievements.

The Architect Patrick Arotcharen has designed a place that respects the natural environment and integrates without a glitch: wood and glass combine in a perfect embrace, look a bit of cabins from the beach and a mountain’s huts are real windows on nature.

Eco-design and sustainable development in every aspect is the values that can be felt running through the structure, relationship with nature was so clearly beyond pure architectural research. All around were planted more than 600 trees and has created a garden.

This building has also been built using wood from pine comes from the Danish sustainably managed forests and wood especially selected not only for aesthetic reasons, for environmental reasons, but because it is a material with zero impact.

Not only. Precast elements used, which does not require water and energy to be assembled for large glass windows and very protected, thus limiting the use of electricity for lighting, heating and air conditioning. Finally, some solar panels provide enough energy to power the lighting system around the outside of the building.
