The Chilean architect, Oltmann Ahlers G. dRN + Arquitectos are convinced that a good example of a home with low environmental impact is not just a building that uses environmentally friendly or recyclable materials, but architecture in all its parts research balance and total fusion with the environment surrounds it.
Born following this philosophy, a completely sustainable house in Chile a house designed on the continuity of two parallel blocks, staggered slightly on two different floors of the ground, and made entirely of wood and glass. It is the choice of materials the first element of a merger between this building and the surrounding nature. Daily life is distributed with ease between the external and internal environments, so the house is a window onto the garden that surrounds it on all sides and the roof of one block becomes a terrace for the upper block.
The house follows the seasons and time, and adapting its environmental impact, depending on temperature. In winter, in fact, you can make a living just the two parallel structures to reduce heat loss and save energy.
The house is in balance with nature making it an oasis of low environmental impact.
