Axia Bathroom 2010

Axia never ceases to surprise and between 2010 proposes two new projects created in collaboration with renowned designer Karim Rashid and Simone Micheli. The first drew AX 20, a project that aims to redraw the concept of the bathroom with warm materials and forms to be altogether more sensual and inviting, a place where you can escape, relax and meditate.

To do this the designer has worked with an organic 3D model that has soft indentations with sharp edges that takes the light from the surface of the pieces to create a certain visual depth, while maintaining the easy to clean. The collection combines these recesses 20 AX-shaped stone with rich warm wood or gloss resin inviting the body to touch and immerse them in a comfortable and serene spa type.

AX 10 is then bath “stage” of intimacy designed by Simone Micheli. Also on the route of the business philosophy of Axia rigor and formal simplicity, valuable raw material and technological innovation, joins the new proposal by Simone Micheli imagining a bathroom fluid and magical, yet functional and attractive, and combines the ruggedness of wood raw materials and highly contemporary technology.

The shapes are rounded through materials, smoothing and graduating intensity and impact surfaces, inviting to be touched and caressed, from white, compact smoothness of Staron ® inoffensive reflections and metallic mirrors, the feeling of rough wood until different degrees of transparency of a glass, as water ice, cloaked in the world of iridescent glow bathroom.

A contrast tactile visual sensory renewing that experience so dear to Simone Micheli and also transforms the bathroom into a place to exhibit, where making new domestic rituals.
