The minimalist style Cultural Center in Ranica, Italy

Located in the medieval town Ranica, near Bergamo in , the minimalist-style renowned for the purity of its volume, with a simple texture, and management of lighting and color. This building has a public library, auditorium, kindergarten and school theater and dance.

Minimalist Style Cultural Center Design

Designed by DAP studio & , located at key locations that are intended as a landmark for the region and the city like in the middle between the downtown and urban growth areas. Its scale on high refers to the heights of nearby buildings, while its scale throughout refers to the surrounding landscape.

This building has two levels, the upper floor is cantilevered, giving the impression of floating on the ground. The difference between the two volumes is achieved with the selection of materials, while the lower level has with walls of glass and stucco walls, the upper floor walls of colored polycarbonate and semi-opaque, which allows a semi-transparent to the outside.
