In the north sloping property Copenhagen, Fredensborg Building was built on five small steps that connected the plateau, which reflects the shape of the surrounding area. Houses for aesthetic inspiration comes from architecture derived from a maze of mountain-village, which you can find the familiar in Southern Europe, Chinese temple architecture, and the work of Jørn Utzon Danish modernist architecture.

This open kitchen is part of the plan – but is still partially hidden in a niche that allows the two occupants of the house so they can work on to prepare food without the disorder who is vulnerable to their customers. This structure should also be possible to build the ovens, ventilation, refrigerators and storage as an integrated part of architecture. Cuisine centrally created to make the workflow much easier when preparing food and serving guests.
At the west end of property, the children’s home a strategic fit into the kitchen building located in the southeast. This creates a natural terrace between the two regions. The rooftop of the child follows the center of the house and land and ends at the same level as entrance to the room which resulted in two very different for one child spilled a lot lower in the room overlooking the garden, another room lit primarily in the North poetic.

Sense of openness and the relationship between inner and outer reinforced by the fact that the level of the terrace floor is equal to the interior floor. Between the living room and the children’s department is still another small niche cut into the area that contains a small office space.

On one side is in a Corian sink and built-in mirror mirror imitating backlit make-up of the theater, to provide soft light reflection. Once you find a private bathroom wall installed.
NATURAL MATERIAL AND LIGHT
One of the main objectives for this house is to provide a feeling of serenity and calm. To achieve this goal, the use of contrasting different materials is minimized. And to adapt to the environmental elements of the building and stayed true to form naturally, many local ingredients are used. In addition to tile comprises yellow, yellow brick and black painted wood. The interior is made from raw gray walls, natural oak scrub the floor and ceiling white. The use of consistent materials around the house that’s what gives this structure a maze like the cohesive look and feel great as one continuous space. This is a selection of local ingredients to provide the same alignment as you find in the old village where everything is built from what is available around the village. Use of natural materials, which gave the house some aesthetic imperfections authentic – like that of the age structure and well beloved, who only became more beautiful as a downgrade. This is the sense we are very inspired by the Japanese wabi-beautiful in mind when selecting materials.
Another important issue when designing the house to play the natural way light can get into the house at different times, and is an integral part of architectural form. So instead of just using common format for windows us a lot of playing with different formats to achieve a certain effect when light enters the house – give each other their own space and feel a certain character.
