Natural Architecture of Venice Biennale 2010
In the lagoon for the Biennale 2010 is much going on including green building and eco-friendly architecture. At the pavilion of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic Gardens, the designer Martin Raijnis proposes a particular development all played on the wood.
This is in fact a reflection on this material and design according to human nature, rejecting waste and exasperated technological sophistication.
The Czech architect after thirty years of his career and after having traveled so-called third and fourth in the world, decided to close his studio (author of fgrandi projects world-famous and significant holdings at international exhibitions such as Expo 1986, where distinguished himself with a multimedia installation) to undertake the path of sustainability in architecture.
Wood, in fact, is especially useful in development because it reduces consumption in structures and can absorb and release heat.
