The perfect harmony of the building with the landscape, the use of modern materials and interesting choice of interiors of this villa by the sea, I have been inspired this post.
The architectural firm that designed this house, in a recent show in Seattle was recognized as one of 12 companies that will shape the future of architecture in Seattle. The exterior of the house consists of a beautiful clear cedar vertically mounted to the roof and a horizontal Cembonit paneling covering the walls and the horizontal bands occupied the building between the windows.
The panels are Cembonit shield with a waterproof membrane that allows exchange of air from outside. The aim is to create a healthy and natural air circulation, allowing the house to breathe while providing isolation.
Some furnishings, personally do not make me crazy, but anyway go wonderfully well with the rest of the house. The living room is wonderful for its front completely open to the outside with large windows. Another detail that struck me is the very elegant column positioned in the middle of the living room where a fireplace was installed, but that does not disturb in any way the view out the true beauty to be appreciated every day.
The villa is situated on plot of land of about 2 hectares and has 90 feet of sandy beach, ideal for walks and swim in the beautiful summer days.
